Congratulations to Dr. Ed Squires! In July, he was a recipient of one of the first Life Time Achievement Awards presented by the International Equine Reproduction Symposium. This award was established in 2017 to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the discipline of Equine Reproduction, either through research or clinical practice. These contributions, whether they have been in research, leadership or mentorship, have had a lasting impact on the discipline of equine reproduction, and candidates have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to progress in the discipline.
Dr. Squires (photo left with his wife, Norma) has been a consultant for Select Breeders Services (SBS) since 2000. He is internationally recognized for research in equine reproduction at Colorado State University and at the Gluck Center, University of Kentucky. Dr. Squires leads the research and development efforts for the SBS network and provides a vital link between SBS and the academic research community.
