Overview

Now beginning his Grand Prix career, Diesel CF is a talented Hanoverian stallion, successfully trained and competed from Training Level to Grand Prix by amateur owner/rider Kasey Cannon.

Diesel is a full brother to Damsey FRH, ranked up to fourth in the FEI Dressage World Rankings under rider, Helen Langehanenberg. In addition, dam, Ria Grande, also produced international Grand Prix mare, Daianira van de Helle. In 2013, Ria Grande was awarded the prestigious Hanoverian Mare of the Year title, one of five dressage mares ever to receive this coveted award from the Hanoverian Verband.

Diesel’s quality, temperament, work ethic and rideability have proven to be exceptional. Diesel has been highly competitive in sport with highlights including reserve champion USDF Horse of the Year at Second Level (median 73.485%) in 2017 and Fourth Level (median 72.389%) in 2018. In 2019, he earned scores to 74.5% at Prix St. Georges. In 2020, he made his CDI debut in the small tour, breaking the 70% barrier. In 2021, to help prepare for the big tour, Diesel and Kasey traveled to Germany for two months of training with Helen Langehanenberg. In 2022, Diesel showed at Intermediare II, and in 2023 he successfully debuted at Grand Prix.

Diesel has produced Premium, Elite, Gold Medal and top inspection foals. He stamps his foals with beautiful heads and ideal neck sets, consistently improves walk and canter, maintains or adds bone, and throws a big, kind eye and a curious, confident, human-oriented temperament.
