  Contendro 1, sire of Cadbury is by Contender a top producer of jumping offspring worldwide.He is a son of Calypso II by Cor de La Bryere. Contendro has made a hit with breeders worldwide for his production of outstanding Stallion sons and Premium mares in Germany that bring along his jumping talent through the generations as proven time and again in licensings, competition, and Mare Performance Testings.........as well as Young Jumper competitions.

  His Dam, Gwenivere, was bred by Sheila Saunders of Millbrook, NY,  a long standing breeder of both hunters and dressage horses. Her sire was Giovanni by Gepard, ridden for Sheila by Frank Chapot. The Grand Dam, Snows Over xx was many times Cofnormation Hunter champion on the A circuit and at PA Hunters for Thistlerose Farm. Snows Over also bore Waltz Overxx, who produced Gwenivere and Peaceful Waltz, NJ bred hunter champion producer.

Performance

  CADBURY showed lightly as a 2 year old in Hand  and was USEF, 4th, Zone 1 Hunter Breeding, and 1st at Pineland Farms Breed Show. 

  As a 3yo he trained to complete his stallion licensing with Rheinland Pfalz Saar and was successful  with 2-9's in Jumping for Scope & Techique. Elementary undersaddle work was conducted by Michael Bragdell at Hilltop Farm, and John Lindstedt at Sweetwater Farm.

As a 4 yo Cadbury trained with Katja Eilers in Waterbury, Connecticut where he honed his undersaddle skills. Competitons included- Wins with USDF rider Paige Finnegan- in the 4 year old Materiale Classes,  Wins & Reserve Championships Undersaddle Materiale & Suiteabiliy with Katja Eilers, and jumping work with her staff.   Cadbury was shown to tiles of Champion & Reserve Champion on the USDF In-hand Circuite and culminated the year with Champion Stallion of NEDA Fall Festival and USDF Finals for the Northeast.  He was also AWS Materiale Horse of the Year and RPSI Materiale Horse of the Year.

  Cadbury went on to S& L stables where he was competed in the 5 year old young horses and other jumping competitions.

Offspring

 Cadburys offspring have been exceptionally typey, with 3 good gaits, jumping ability and easy to train.

CURACAO:  owned by Joe & Patty Forest, Hortons Farm , CORAVAGIO: owned by Brittany Early, Coyote Ridge Farm, is training for Hunters.  CHARLIE BROWN, owned by Bill McGarigle is being raised as a stallion candidate/jumper,  CHURCHILL: training for the hunters,  CAPONE:  bred by Coyote Ridge Farm, training for eventing.
