Overview

Denver is absolutely captivating!  This majestic stallion has tremendous, natural presence and it's not just due to his size.  His beautiful headset and large soft eyes tell quickly of his kind and gentle disposition.  Although he stands 16.1 H, he's perfectly balanced and has outstanding conformation.  He has the broadest chest & rump we've ever seen. 

Denver has a lot of proven, athletic, horses directly behind him.  We raised his dam and she comes from some of the top horses/bloodlines in our program.  Lots of old blood and well respected horses, right close up.  A fantastic mix of athleticism, stamina and common sense along with beauty, grit and a Flyhawk trot from the likes of famed Caduceus Denver, DJJJ Ebony Gold, MUR Royal's Joyride, Tom Shoe, Rimlo and Teton. 

Denver has been trained to ride and drive.  He has a good solid mind; he's been easy to train and retains what he's learned.

Denver tested black but he is not homozygous black.  He is CA for gait and negative for PSSM1.  For those that are interested, he calculates at 99.88% Foundation.  If you'd like to see more pics of him and his progeny, please let us know.

Performance

Denver has been trained to ride and drive.  While he excels at both, we mainly use him for ranch work.  He has a good solid mind and work ethic.  

Offspring

Denver's foals have all been strong, big boned and athletic as well as stunningly beautiful.  They are confident and proud but have loving dispositions and are easy to handle.  We've been applying time to fillies we retained from his first foal crop and are pleased with how they're responding.  His offspring are in demand as breeding stock as well as sport horse prospects.  Can't say enough good about this powerful and gentle giant.
