Overview

Hawke do Summerwind is pure Maripa breeding, the son of 2 Maripa parents.   He has perfect conformation, a showy and smooth marcha gait AND the Marchador's sweet and people loving temperament.   He has presence and beauty with a large expressive eye and a desire to please.   In short, the perfect storm.

Hawke is double registered with the USMMA and the ABCCMM.   He has been inspected and approved for breeding by the ABCCMM (Brasil). 

The Marchador breed is an outstanding saddle horse that is most common in its native country Brazil.   With Iberian and Barb roots, the breed was a working ranch and sport horse on the large farms there.   It has intelligence, endurance, focus and is GAITED.

Agro Maripa is a large, established Marchador breeder in Brazil focusing on genetics that are traceable back over 130 years.   Maripa produces a genetic line that can best be described as gaited sport horses.  Each individual horse is known and tested before the decision is made to use them as a breeding stallion.

Future Foal "do Summerwind" breeders have imported foundation quality breeding mares and frozen semen from some of the best Marchador stallions in Brasil. We represent more than a dozen Brazilian Marchador stallions.
