Overview

Summers Chico Bandito is homozygous for the tobiano pattern and the black gene so will always produce color and no sorrels or chestnuts. Chico is 15 hands and weighs 1200 lbs. Excellent temperament which he passes on to his foals.  He has the athletic ability to compete in a multitude of events including speed events. See website for more information and photos.

Chico is double registered with APHA and PtHa so his foals are eligible for both.  He is also registered in the Breeder's Trust program which means his foals can also be registered .

Performance

Chico has won APHA World 2x and PtHA World and Reserve World 3x.  He has over 1048 lifetime points and  Superiors in Heading, Heeling, Steer Stopping, Tie-down roping.  He also has ROMS in Working Cow Horse, Heading, Heeling, Tie-down roping and Steer Stopping.

Chico has also won the Greatest American Paint Horse Contest and numerous club and association awards for placing first in shows and won the 2009 All Around Winner in Open Cattle Events for PtHA.

Offspring

Summers Chico Bandito is not only a multiple World Champion but also a multiple World Champion / Reserve Champion Sire. Some of his offspring winning APHA World events and Reserve World are but not llimited to the following:

Chicos True to Texas;  Chicos Bandelero; Chicos Delta Flyer Gold Bar; Chicos Blonde At the Bar.

APHA World show in color class:  Chicos Chex to Cash and Chicos Bar Lady Hancock.

Numerous offspring are winning performance points and placings at World and other APHA competitions.
